What is a treadmill test?
Treadmill test is a stress test of the heart, which is performed on a treadmill with simultaneous monitoring of heart rate and blood pressure. It allows you to assess the response of the cardiovascular system to physical activity, determine the level of endurance and safe load for the patient. The procedure is performed at the Forest Retreat Center under the supervision of an experienced doctor using modern equipment.
Separately, the test calculates VO2max, an indicator of maximum oxygen consumption, which reflects the real state of the cardiovascular system and biological age. It is especially relevant for people with an active lifestyle and athletes who want to train effectively and without risk to their health.
