Polysomnography is a modern, painless method of diagnosing sleep disorders, which is performed in a specialized laboratory. During the study, the body's work at night is analyzed: breathing, sleep phases, frequency of apnea (breathing stops), muscle activity, heartbeat, blood oxygen saturation, body movements and other parameters.
The study allows you to detect snoring, obstructive apnea, insomnia, shallow sleep, frequent night awakenings, daytime sleepiness, disruption of the deep sleep phase, as well as the effects of stress and emotional exhaustion.
