But it won&#039;t tell you anything about how the child is actually feeling. The &quot;Ready for School&quot; checkup is for parents who want to check the indicators that really affect their child&#039;s well-being and learning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">The new school year means early awakenings, long lessons, and a large team where it&#039;s easy to catch an infection. It&#039;s easier to withstand such a load when the body is ready for it, so it makes sense to get tested before September 1. Often, it&#039;s the school that reveals things that went unnoticed in the summer: iron or vitamin D deficiency is manifested by lethargy in classes, thyroid changes in adolescents affect mood and concentration, and before physical education, it&#039;s important to know that the heart is ready for the load.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\" dir=\"ltr\">At the Forest Retreat Center, the check-up takes place over two days, at a leisurely pace and without queues. On the first day, there are consultations with a pediatrician\/general practitioner and a dermatologist, diagnostics of the heart and abdominal organs, tests with breakfast afterwards. On the second visit, the doctor gives recommendations based on the results and issues a ready-made certificate for the school. And all this in the atmosphere of the Holosiivskyi Forest in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<h4><b>What is included in the examination?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><b>Consultations<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pediatrician\/family medicine general practitioner: examination, anthropometry, developmental assessment, and ENT examination<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dermatologist: skin, hair, and nail examination<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Instrumental diagnostics<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12-lead ECG with decoding<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Echocardiography (heart ultrasound) according to the pediatric protocol<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ultrasound of the abdominal organs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Laboratory tests<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span>you can come with your results if they are no more than two weeks old).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">General blood test with formula and ESR<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">General analysis of urine<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coprogram (please bring the material for analysis yourself in a special container)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ferritin is an indicator of iron stores.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CRP \u2013 a marker of inflammation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Glucose<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vitamin D3<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASL-O is a marker of past streptococcal infection.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For adolescents, additional TSH and free T4 \u2013 thyroid hormones<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>After the examinations, a delicious healthy breakfast awaits the child.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><b>Help for school<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Based on the results of the examination, the pediatrician issues an official medical certificate for the educational institution (form No. 086\/o). The child undergoes a full examination and receives the document required for school in one visit, without having to go to separate doctors.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><b>How to prepare<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Make an appointment and come with your child on an empty stomach: the tests are given before eating, and breakfast will be served immediately after the blood draw. The visit lasts several hours, so plan enough time for it.
